Comic book and science fiction buffs can still get their hands on tickets to this year's Comic Con.
But they'll have some competition.
Lines started forming outside of Midtown Comics on Fulton Street in the Financial District Wednesday for their exclusive ticket sale.
They were the only retailer selling tickets today, but a few other stores will start selling them soon.
Online passes to the convention were available in June, but quickly sold out.
NY1 spoke to some Comic Con hopefuls at the scene.
"I've so far made a couple new friends which always is fun,” said one person waiting in line.
"A very nerdy Black Friday,” said another.
"It's amazing that we've even lasted this long, it's our first time doing this, it was an amazing experience,” said a third.
"People came in at 11 o clock yesterday morning, 11 a.m. to get in line for this insane line that's around the corner. It's gonna be a pretty busy day for us today,” said Midtown Comics’ Andrew Cohen.
Each year, the Javitz Center is filled with costumed comic book fans. This year’s Comic Con will take place from October 9 to 12.
