Police are looking for a man who shot another man in Brooklyn, leaving him in the hospital.

It happened Friday near the corner of Moffat Street and Wilson Avenue in Bushwick.

Surveillance video shows the victim tripping and the shooter coming around the corner and firing two shots at him.

The victim was hit in the back and leg.

Police say there was a five-year-old girl near by on her tricycle, but she was not hurt.

Neighbors we spoke with were shaken.

"I just came out of the deli. I was buying vinegar. Then I went to my apartment, and I went into the kitchen and then the shot was fired, right here," one area resident said.

"I was trying to get out the way. And the only thing that kept them from going in was the plexiglass," said another.

The victim's condition is described as stable.

The suspect is described as 20 to 30 years old, between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-8, and about 225 pounds. ClientIP:,, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
