The good times will "drag" on at Lucky Cheng's; it's back open for business.
The East Village restaurant, which proclaims itself the "Drag Queen Capital of the World," closed its short-lived Midtown location back in June.
After a lot of grassroots support, Lucky Cheng's is taking over the second floor of the Lower East Side club "The DL."
Last night was the first night back for the Restaurant and Cabaret Lounge -- and the owners were excited.
"Amazing. I'm DJ'ing. Everyone seems to be having a good time. The show is about to start," said co-owner Josephine Jason.
"We're downtown where we belong. We hit Broadway for a two year run. It was what it was. Now, we're ready for the future," said "Paulina," a performer at the restaurant.
Owners say the pop-up location will be open only a few months while they look for a permanent home.
Lucky Cheng's has been in business at several locations for more than 20 years.
