On your mark, get set, crawl!
The Panasonic New York City triathlon, ahead of Sunday's big race, hosted the Diaper Derby Friday for future triathletes.
Thirty babies raced, or crawled, across the finish line at the Duane Reade Sports and Fitness Expo in Midtown.
First place went to Liam Herrold as his proud parents watched.
"In my wildest dreams, I never thought my son would win the Diaper Derby," Liam's father said. "He had a spaghetti dinner last night, and you know, lots of carbs, just to get ready for the race."
The annual triathlon consists of a 1,500-meter swim in the Hudson, a 40K bike ride along the Henry Hudson Parkway and a 10K run in Central Park.
