The weekend weather forecast may not be that great, but New Yorkers will still have a chance to enjoy seven miles of traffic-free Manhattan streets.
The city will shut down a stretch of Manhattan from the Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday for Summer Streets.
The route will feature hundreds of free events and activities including musical performances, bike rentals, and arts and crafts.
Visitors can also check out an interactive sound installation inside the Park Avenue Tunnel.
Summer Streets will return on August 9 and again on August 16.
