Police are asking for help identifying a man who they say was part of a group that attacked a woman in the Bronx.

It happened in Morris Heights at around 3 a.m. Saturday morning.

Police say the above photo of the suspect was captured inside a deli shortly before the attack.

They say the man pictured, along with several others, punched an 18-year-old woman repeatedly and hit her in the head with a bottle.

They then allegedly ran from the scene.

Police say the woman was knocked unconscious, with head injuries and chipped teeth.

She was taken to Bronx Lebanon Hospital, where she was treated for her injuries.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
