A new report shows officers working in the precinct where a Staten Island man died while being taken into custody are subject to more lawsuits than anywhere else in the city.

The Daily News is reporting seven of the city's top 10 most-sued officers are assigned to a narcotics unit in the 120th precinct, where Eric Garner died after being placed in an apparent chokehold by an officer earlier this month.

Despite being the city's smallest narcotics unit, the News says it racked up more than 600 lawsuits, with over $6 million in total payouts since 2003.

The report found that most of the lawsuits cited cases of false arrest, where charges were later dropped or sealed.
