Six people have been indicted for allegedly hacking StubHub accounts and fraudulently selling tickets.

The Manhattan District Attorney says that the thieves hacked more than 1,000 StubHub accounts and purchased tickets to events, including Jay-Z and Elton John concerts and Yankees-Red Sox games.

They then allegedly re-sold those tickets at higher prices and split the proceeds.

StubHub helped refund the affected users and suggested they change their passwords.

The DA says the six hackers were part of a global network of identity thieves and money launderers.
