The last three leaders of a Bronx heroin ring known as "La Perla" plead guilty to charges in court.
Police released this surveillance video of the gang's drug dealing activities that prosecutors say brought in $300,000 in profit every week.
The investigation included wiretaps, video surveillance, and undercover heroin buys.
Detectives recovered four killograms of heroin in thousands of envelopes labeled “La Perla,” “Salsa,” “Tuna,” and “Sabroso,” as well as $1.6 million in cash, guns, vehicles and expensive jewelry.
The gang leaders all pleaded guilty to Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Wilson Guerrero and Franklin "Kelly" Perez will serve 12 years in prison and Antonio "Tony" Carrasquillo will serve 10.
The Bronx District Attorney says now all 38 members of the ring who were indicted have been convicted on narcotics charges.
