Police are investigating after they say a 65-year-old man was attacked in the subway when he refused to hand over money.

The NYPD says the man in the above photo demanded money from the victim at the 205th Street-Bainbridge Avenue subway station in the Bronx on the morning of July 14.

The victim said he didn't have any money and turned to leave.

Police say the man in the photo then punched the victim in the back of the head, pushed him to the ground, and threw an unknown liquid on him.

The suspected attacker is said to be in his mid 20s, about 5-foot-7.

He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
