Hundreds of people gathered at Lincoln Center to honor the late folk singer Pete Seeger and his wife, Toshi.

Seeger Fest drew performers like Judy Collins to sing Seeger's songs, including "Turn Turn Turn."

One fan said Seeger's music is timeless.

"For some one like me who grew up through the 60s, music was what helped bring us together. It still brings us together in this time of strife and war. It helps leave the message that there are means to communicate. The songs are memorable but also ring forward the connection of what we need to do today," said Stanley Weiss.

Pete Seeger died in January at the age of 94.
