A Queens man is facing several charges after police say he carjacked at least two drivers and hit a pedestrian.
According to the New York City Police Department, the gun seen above was the gun Clinton Lawson used when he ordered a 64-year-old man out of his car on Eastern Parkway and Utica Avenue at around 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
Lawson then allegedly hit a 75-year-old man and a parked Mercedes just a few blocks away near the corner of Kingston Avenue and St. John's Place.
A man sitting in that Mercedes confronted Lawson. Officers say Lawson then shot at the 22-year-old.
Police say Lawson then carjacked another driver nearby and crashed that car near the corner of Sterling Place and Rogers Avenue.
Officers caught the suspect as they say he tried to blend into the crowd.
The 75-year-old pedestrian that was initially hit was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
