A group of artists is trying to leave their mark on a Brooklyn staple.

Artists from El Puente Muralistas came together with students and members of the Williamsburg community to paint a mural on a fence in front of the historic Domino Sugar factory.

It's called; "Past, Present, Prediction."

The theme of the piece depicts the community's connection to the plant and the sugar cane industry as well.

"The mural represents the challenges of the changes that are coming to this community," said Joe Matunis, director of Muralistas del Puente. "Really wanting to highlight the history of this community, the rich values, traditions and culture of the community, so that everybody who comes by can really understand and benefit from this beautiful culture."

The mural was commissioned by the Two Trees Management Company, the firm that is redeveloping the site.
