Police are looking for a man they say tried to rape a woman in Queens.

Investigators say the man seen above followed the victim into her building off Roosevelt Avenue within the confines of the 115th Precinct, which includes the neighborhoods of Jackson Heights, East Elmhurst and North Corona, around 5 a.m. on June 6.

They say he then threw her to the ground and tried to rape her.

Police say she did not know her attacker.

The man is believed to be in his 20s and is described as being about 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
