Police are searching for a man who they say raped a woman in Queens.

Investigators say the 32-year-old victim was walking on 46th Avenue near Junction Boulevard in Corona just before midnight Tuesday when a man approached her from behind.

Police say he sprayed her face with an unknown substance and then raped her.

The victim bit the attacker and he ran away, according to police.

She was taken to Elmhurst General Hospital.

Police say the attacker is in his 30s.
