Three thousand, two hundred school buses are being pulled from the road.

The Blue Bird school bus company says the recall is necessary to fix a steering problem.

It includes 2,500 All American school buses built over the past three years—in use across the country.

The company is also recalling 388 of their Vision school buses made between 2012 and 2013. Most of these run on propane and may develop a fuel leak.

The company says no injuries or accidents have been reported.

NY1 has reached out to the Department of Education to see if it uses any of the affected buses. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
