Family and friends are raising money for the funeral of an eight-year old police say was murdered by his father in Queens.
Prosecutors say 41-year-old Boujeke Kenmoe strangled his son Jerry and then tried to take his own life last Sunday.
Organizers of the fundraising campaign say they want to collect enough money to cover Jerry's funeral and send his remains back to Cameroon.
So far they've raised a little more than $1,800.
