Police in Queens have charged one person in connection with a shooting Thursday at the Astoria Houses in Queens but another suspect remains at large.
Investigators say Shannon Smith, 34, is facing seven charges including attempted murder, assault, and criminal possession of a stolen weapon.
Police have released a photo of the weapon they say Smith had on him.
Investigators say shots rang out shortly after 4:30 p.m.
Two people -- a 15-year old boy and a 30-year old man -- were shot.
After the shooting police say Smith jumped in the passenger seat of a waiting car.
They say the getaway car struck another car as it was trying to flee the scene.
Smith was arrested as the driver of the car fled on foot.
The 30-year-old man is in critical condition; the 15 year old is said to be in stable condition.
