Five years after a bystander was shot in the Bronx, four defendants have pled guilty in connection to the case.
Among them is Carvette Gentles, who prosecutors say was 16 when he pulled the trigger.
Investigators say he shot Tyrone Creighton multiple times back in 2009.
They believe Creighton was the intended target, but say a stray bullet struck 15-year-old Vada Vasquez in the head.
She was put in a medically induced coma, but eventually recovered.
Gentles has now pled guilty to first degree assault and is expected to be sentenced to 15 years in prison.
Meanwhile, two other men have pled guilty to assault for helping to chase down Creighton.
A third pled guilty to conspiracy for ordering the shooting.
