Wiley Reynolds, 49, the grandfather who fell asleep and lost his three-year-old grandson on the subway has been arrested and charged.
Sources tell NY1 three-year-old Kah-yon Reynolds got off the F train at the Smith and 9th Street stop in Brooklyn with an adult friend, after his grandfather fell asleep.
When the grandfather woke up in Queens he reported the boy missing.
Sources say the friend returned the child safely to his home in Newark—and said he didn't feel the boy should have been in his grandfather's care.
We're also told that Reynolds is on Methadone.
Police have charged him with failure to exercise control of a minor.
