Two Rikers Island guards have been arrested after investigators allegedly found them carrying cocaine and marijuana.

Correction Officers Devine Rahming and Steven Dominguez were arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court on drug possession charges.

Sources say their arrests are related to Monday's massive search of inmates and correction officers at the prison.

More than a dozen guards are expected to face charges following the raid.

Officials were looking for contraband and weapons after an investigation revealed a wave of violence and illegal activity at Rikers. ClientIP:,, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
