Police are looking for a man wanted for groping a series of women and girls in the Bronx.
Investigators say the man has struck at least nine times since February.
The most recent incident took place on the morning of Wednesday, June 11 at the intersection of Eastchester Road and Burke Avenue in Williamsbridge.
Police say all of the incidents happened within the 47th precinct during the morning hours.
The victims range in age from 12 to 21.
Residents in the neighborhood say they're concerned.
"I have a daughter so it's kind of scary to hear about that," said one resident.
"I'm a woman and I have daughters myself so it's like, it's not good," said another resident.
The incidents are part of a recent rise in misdemeanor sex crimes in the 47th precinct. They are up more than 37 percent over the same time last year.
The precinct is also where a 13-year-old girl was stabbed on Monday, and it also leads the city in homicides.
The overall crime spike has residents worried for their safety.
"When it gets dark I don't come out. I don't come out for nobody. I don't even come out to the store. And I've been around here for 37 years and it was nothing like this," said one resident.
Meantime, the groping suspect is described as being about 20 years old, 5'10" tall with a thin build and was was last seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, and black sneakers.
