Hundreds ditched their Wall Street desks and take to the track to raise money for pediatric cancer research Sunday.

The RBC Decathlon took place at Saint John's University today.

Some 100 financial firms were represented by participants competing for the title of "Wall Street's Best Athlete" while raising money for the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Olympic decathletes Dan O'Brien and Dave Johnson reunited for a friendly competition in support of the worthwhile cause.

"It's been great to get back and see Dan compete and see the Wall Street decathletes compete and be part of their experience. It's been amazing and for the cause, for pediatric cancer, it doesn't get any better than this," said 1992 Olympic Decathlon Bronze Medalist Dave Johnson.

"You know, it's really neat. Twenty-two years ago, Dave and I starred in the Dan and Dave Reebok commercials and we really haven't done a whole lot together since 1992 and so this is an opportunity for us to come together once again, do some media, and promote a really good cause," said 1996 Olympic Decathlon Gold Medalist Dan O'Brien.

Organizers say the event has raised over $4 million since 2009. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
