A stray bullet flew through the window of an Upper East Side hospital Friday, shattering glass and injuring a patient.
Police say it happened around 5:45 a.m. Friday at the Hospital for Special Surgery.
The unidentified 30-year-old woman was on the eighth floor of the building and suffered cuts to her face.
Hospital officials said the room faces 71st Street.
There's no word on where the shot came from.
