A Long Island man was arraigned Wednesday on several charges after a crash in May that killed a 9-year old girl.
Kenneth Palache is being charged with reckless endangerment in the first degree and manslaughter in the second degree.
Authorities say Palache was trying to evade police after being pulled over when he hit a stopped car in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn.
Rebecca Ramnarine was one of the passengers in the stopped car.
She died as a result of the crash.
The 62-year old Palache is expected back in court in August and could face up to 15 years in prison.
