A Queens man already facing attempted murder charges is arrested after allegedly threatening to kill the leader of a Washington-based Muslim civil rights group.

Prosecutors say Council on American-Islamic Relations Director Nihad Awad received threatening e-mails from 56-year-old Bernhard Laufer.

In one e-mail, they say Laufer tells Awad, "I'm coming after you."

Laufer is already facing charges for attempted murder as a bias crime for an incident in November 2012, when police say he repeatedly stabbed a man outside of a Kissena Boulevard mosque.
