Pope Francis has appointed three priests to serve as Auxiliary Bishops in the Archdiocese of New York.

Monsignor John Jenik is currently pastor of Our Lady of Refuge Parish in the Bronx.

Reverend Peter Byrne is pastor of Saint Elizabeth in Manhattan.

Both men are fluent in Spanish.

Reverend John O'Hara is the former pastor of Saint Teresa of the Infant Jesus Parish on Staten Island. He currently directs "Making All Things New," a city-wide pastoral planning initiative.

All of the bishop-elects will be ordained on August 4 in Saint Patrick's Cathedral.

They will join Bishop Gerald Walsh and Bishop Domenick Lagonegro who currently serve along side Cardinal Dolan. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
