Some workers in one Queens neighborhood say they are being harassed by a group of small birds.

Employees at an air-conditioning shop in Woodside say the birds have been swooping down and pecking at people for about a week.

They say they're trying to get through to Animal Care & Control in the hopes of getting the animals removed.

NY1 is told police officers actually came to the neighborhood but couldn't do anything about it.

"When the cops came, they came out of the car. The birds came down and bit one of them," said one worker.

"I turned around looked up and there was this little bird and he kept coming at me because I have a pony tail. And he kept trying to climb into my hair like a nest," said another worker.

"We've got to do something about that because I know some people were bleeding because the birds were coming down. I mean it was right out of an Alfred Hitchcock movie," noted a third worker.

Workers at the shop say the little blue and white birds seem to be living on the roof a home across the street, and are hanging out on telephone wires. ClientIP:,, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
