A Brooklyn community is planing to protest what they call police inaction after a teen was shot to death earlier this month.
Laquan Nelson was shot in the torso outside the Lafayette Gardens Houses on June 2.
Police say he then walked toward the 88th Precinct stationhouse. He was found across the street from it and was later pronounced dead at Brooklyn Hospital.
Neighbors claim police didn't act quickly enough when they found him and that EMTs were late arriving to the scene
They're calling for an investigation and are planning a rally for 6 p.m. Thursday in the schoolyard of P.S. 270.
No arrests were ever made in the case.
