Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver announced increased sanctions against Assemblyman Micah Kellner on Wednesday.
Silver says Kellner's office will be closed and his staff allocation reduced to zero on June 30.
This comes after the Assembly Ethics and Guidance Committee found that Kellner violated an initial set of sanctions issued in December, when the committee ruled he sexually harassed two staffers in 2009 and 2011.
Silver says Kellner failed to abide by the regulations by continuing to allow interns to work in his office.
He also says Kellner engaged in additional acts of sexual harassment that were not included in the 2013 investigation.
Kellner's 76th district includes Manhattan's Upper East Side and Roosevelt Island.
He says he plans to finish his term but will not run for re-election.
