Mayor Bill de Blasio and other top city lawmakers are celebrating the new Sugar Hill affordable housing development in Manhattan as it nears completion.

It includes 124 units, 20 of which are put aside for homeless families.

De Blasio says a family of three earning less than $28,000 dollars can get a three bedroom apartment in the building for $500 a month.

The development is part of the Broadway Housing Community.

It includes offices, an art museum and a preschool on-site. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
