The Rangers will play their first Stanley Cup Final game at the Garden in 20 years tonight when they host the Kings in Game 3.

The Blueshirts are hoping their homecoming will bring them more luck than they had in Los Angeles.

The Rangers are down 2-0 in the series after dropping Game 2 in double overtime Saturday night.

They also lost Game 1 last Wednesday after going to overtime.

History is not exactly on the Rangers side right now. They've only won two of the seven series where they started off in an 0-2 hole.

But the Kings have won seven straight series where they had taken the first two games.

Rangers defenseman Kevin Klein says the support of the fans is giving the team the motivation it needs.

"It's exciting, they've been loud for us. You know great support throughout the post-season and regular season, and we're just excited to get out there in front of them and give them something to cheer about," Klein said.

"I'm very hopeful, I'm very hopeful. You know, it's like, these guys can do it. They've got to put the heart to it. And they've gotta go for the throat," said Amy Herman, a 32-year Rangers season ticket holder.

Game 3 is set for 8 p.m.

Game 4 will be played at the Garden on Wednesday. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
