The cat that was recorded being kicked on video that outraged so many people last month is now up for adoption.

The ASPCA says "King" is fully recovered after receiving medical treatment and a full behavioral evaluation.

King was delivered to the ASPCA Animal Hospital one day after a video hit the internet showing a young man kicking the cat on a sidewalk and laughing about it.

Andre Robinson, 21, was arrested on animal cruelty charges.

Hospital workers say King is affectionate and playful. They recommend he live in a single-cat household with experienced owners and children older than 12.

If you want to apply to adopt King, call the ASPCA at 212-876-7700, extension 4044. ClientIP:,, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
