A street in Brooklyn is being named after a famous Spike Lee Joint.

The famed director posted the above picture on Instagram.

Stuyvesant Avenue between Lexington and Quincy in Bedford-Stuyvesant is slated to be renamed "Do the Right Thing Way."

Lee filmed the movie on that block 25 years ago.

The mayor's office says the City Council still has to vote on the measure before it becomes official.

It was overwhelmingly approved by the local community board.
