The League of United Latin American Citizens honored Time Warner Cable at its annual award ceremony Tuesday night in Midtown.
The two organizations have been partners in funding technology centers throughout the country to help people become more computer literate.
LULAC also praised Time Warner Cable for helping bring the annual Hispanic convention to New York this July.
NY1 Noticias was also praised for being a voice of the Latino community.
"They are the light that takes us out of the shadows. Because if it weren't for information, communication, we would not be able to grow and advance as a people," said Aureo Cardona of the League of United Latin American Citizens.
"We know how important NY1 is to this city and it's given the same caliber and class to reporting that NY1 gives to this city," said LULAC North East Vice President Ralina Cardona.
Time Warner Cable is the parent company of NY1.
