Jennifer Lopez is trying to ease concerns about her upcoming concert in Pelham Bay Park.

Residents of City Island wrote to the parks commissioner complaining about the traffic and litter the free show is likely to cause. But Lopez says no one should worry.

"I think its gonna be so exciting and so fun. Our crowd is not as big as the July 4th crowd so don’t worry. It’s not as big as the Memorial Day crowd which is like 50 or 80,000. It's gonna be awesome coming back to the Bronx and doing a concert for the neighborhood that raised me. And that what it’s about," Lopez said.

The concert is scheduled for Wednesday night, but all of the free tickets have already been handed out.

Premier seats are still available, they cost $150.

In a statement, the parks department says it's working closely with city agencies to keep traffic to a minimum. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 (http://commoncrawl.org/faq/) Profile: TWCSAMLSP
