The NYPD officer detained in India earlier this year is now free to come home.

Officer Manny Encarnacion was arrested in New Delhi in March when customs officials found bullets in his luggage. He says he accidentally left them in his bag while packing.

After a judge initially postponed his hearing until July, Encarnacion's case was heard this week.

The court ruled that he did not intentionally bring the bullets into the country, and dismissed the case. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
