Police across the city are cracking down on impaired and distracted drivers this holiday weekend.

Governor Andrew Cuomo says officers in the city and across the state are stepping up enforcement, targeting people who use hand held electronic devices while driving.

They're also keeping an eye out for drivers who are impaired by drugs or alcohol.

Memorial day weekend is one of the busiest travel times of the year.
