Hurricane Sandy recovery continues for one city hospital with the help of federal funding.

The basement of Bellevue Hospital was completely flooded by Hurricane Sandy's storm surge.

It destroyed expensive equipment and medical supply inventory.

New York Sens. Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand announced that the hospital would receive $4.3 million from the federal government.

They say it will help restore Bellevue to its pre-Sandy condition.
