A Queens man has been convicted of murder in the shooting death of his parents three years ago.

It happened in the family's Springfield Gardens home in September 2011.

Prosecutors argued 26-year-old Shane Jaggarnauth shot his father in the forehead then shot his mother in the torso.

Rosie Jaggarnauth managed to dial 911, but during the call, they say, she was shot three more times.

The suspect originally told police his family was the victim of a home invasion, but his story soon unraveled.

Shane Jaggarnauth faces life in prison when he's sentenced next month. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
