Police on Thursday announced the arrest of a suspect who they say shot a man outside a Bronx school this week.

Investigators say Dwayne Reid, 43, of Larchmont N.Y. faces several charges including second degree murder and manslaughter.

Investigators say he shot 45-year-old Lamont Smith from Yonkers in the head, leaving the body in front of P.S. 112 in Edenwald early Wednesday morning.

Police say someone fled the scene in a U-Haul truck but it's unclear if Reid was the driver.

There is no word on what sparked the shooting.
