An car crash injured 11 people early Tuesday morning in the Meiers Corner section of Staten Island.

Witnesses say the driver of a Dodge Dakota blew a stop sign at the intersection of Gansevoort Boulevard and Harold Street.

Police say he hit a minivan, which then crashed into an SUV.

There were a total of seven kids in the cars, including an infant.

The children were on their way to school.

Seven people were taken to Richmond University Medical Center.

One was admitted for head trauma and is listed in stable condition.

There is no word on the condition of patients at Staten Island University Hospital.
