Authorities have seized $11 million in heroin, cocaine and weapons in what they say is the biggest drug bust of the year so far.
A joint task force including the Drug Enforcement Administration, NYPD, the city's special narcotics prosecutor and state police nabbed two men they say were responsible for supplying massive amounts of drugs throughout the Northeast.
Authorities say the suspects were picked up while making a delivery in Connecticut.
As a result, several locations in the Bronx were searched.
Officials say drugs and weapons were found.
Edualin Tapia and Guillermo Esteban are now charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and conspiracy.
