A Queens cab driver who raped a passenger at knife-point in 2011 has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Brooklyn District Attorney Ken Thompson says 40-year-old Gurmeet Singh was found guilty of rape in the first degree and kidnapping in the second degree as a sexually motivated felony.

The DA's office says Singh picked up a 26-year-old woman in Williamsburg and was supposed take her to her Manhattan apartment.

When she fell asleep in the cab, authorities say he moved her to his car and raped her, then left her at the side of the road.

He was identified by DNA evidence, as well as the result of an investigation with the Taxi & Limousine Commission.
