Animal care professionals are still looking after the cat that was brutally kicked in a Facebook video earlier this week.

The ASPCA says King, a 1-year-old male, is in the healing process, but they say it's too soon to discuss a timeline for him possibly being adopted.

King was taken in for treatment after video surfaced of him being kicked in a Bedford-Stuyvesant housing complex.

Andre Robinson, 21, was arrested in connection with the incident and has been charged with aggravated animal cruelty.

He's due back in court next month.
