Starting this weekend, culture is just a stop away in Long Island City.

A free weekend shuttle bus will provide door-to-door service to the area's artistic hotspots.

The LIC Art Bus will run from Court Square to Socrates Sculpture Park, The Noguchi Museum, SculptureCenter, and MoMA PS1.

It will also run on some weekends when 7 train service is suspended in the area.

Organizers said their goal is to promote the cultural institutions as well as the waterfront area.

"Culture remains a top priority for tourism, but we also want to serve our local residents, and having a robust public transportation system is important," said Katie Denny, director of development and communications for Socrates Sculpture Park.

The bus will run Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. from May 10 until September 14.
