Some lucky lotto winners collected on Tuesday, their big pay day.
More than $11 million was paid out to 40 winners from Brooklyn, Manhattan and Staten Island.
The smallest paychecks went to a group of 36 second-place Mega Millions winners who split $1 million.
The biggest winner was Salvatore Gandolfo of Staten Island, who hit on a Silver Spectacular scratch-off ticket for a staggering $7.5 million.
He says he has modest plans for the money.
"It will make me happy that I can do something with my family, but as far as me—you know, I'll try to find happiness. I know I want to do the right thing and try to find happiness," Gandolfo said.
He also said he bought the life-changing ticket one night when he was driving around because he couldn't sleep.
