Subway service in Queens is slowly getting back on track after Friday's F train derailment.

The E train is back running local service in both directions between Queens Plaza and Jamaica Center.

The F train is now running local between 21st street Queens bridge and Jamaica 179th street in both directions.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority says they expect full service to be restored by Monday's morning rush.

In terms of the investigation, the agency says they've discovered a small fracture in the rail under the train.

The agency says the rail was manufactured in November, and installed in March.

It's being removed and sent for testing.

Officials say it appears the crew on board the train was not responsible in any way for the incident.
