After a seven-month closure, the MTA says 6 train service is set to return to the Castle Hill Avenue and Middletown Road stations in the Bronx at 5 p.m. Sunday.

The stations were the first to close as part of a $109 million renovation project along the Pelham line in the Bronx.

Some of the improvements include steel replacement and new artwork.

Next, the MTA plans to close down the Buhre and the Zerega Avenue stations for rehabilitation.

That closure is scheduled to happen in July and run through February of next year. ClientIP:,, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
