An auction of memorabilia from legendary filmmaker and actor Orson Welles pulled in $180,000 in the city over the weekend.

Two dozen pages of scripts from Welles' 1941 masterpiece "Citizen Kane" sold for $15,000 at Heritage Auctions in Manhattan, more than seven times the presale estimate of $2,000.

Other pieces included an old movie camera that sold for more than $37,000 and a silver-plated cigar ashtray Ernest Hemingway gave Welles that sold for $5,000.
